Marengo Car Accident – A 25-year-old Woodstock lady has passed on after a four-vehicle crash in unincorporated Marengo on Wednesday evening.
Soon after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, individuals from McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, Marengo Police Department, McHenry County Conservation District Police Department, Marengo Fire Protection District, Huntley Fire Protection District, and Woodstock Fire Protection District reacted to an accident including a semi-heavy transport and three different vehicles.
During the examination, not really set in stone that a 2014 Kenworth semi-heavy transport was being driven by a 47-year-old Joliet man going south on Illinois Route 23 heading towards the crossing point at River Road.
It was around then a 2008 Pontiac G6, being driven by the 25-year-old Woodstock lady neglected to yield and entered the crossing point making the semi collided with the driver’s side.A 2014 Nissan Rogue, driven by a 63-year-old Marengo lady with her 18-year-old traveler, and a 2001 Jeep Cherokee, driven by a 27-year-old Harvard man, were driving north on Illinois Route 23 at a similar convergence, and hence collided with the semi and Pontiac as they were stopping.
The driver of the Pontiac was articulated perished at the scene. The driver of the Jeep was shipped to Northwestern Huntley Hospital with minor wounds. The driver and traveler of the Nissan alongside the driver of the Kenworth were dealt with and delivered at the scene. Liquor isn’t accepted to be a contributing component to the accident.
